The Chicago Cubs (15-15) will face off against the Washington Nationals (12-18) on Thursday afternoon (12:05 pm CT) at Nationals Park in Washington, DC.
The Cubs will be fielding a slightly different lineup than the previous game. Nico Hoerner will be leading off again, followed by Dansby Swanson and Ian Happ in the second and third spots. Seiya Suzuki will be batting cleanup as the designated hitter, with Cody Bellinger in the fifth spot and Patrick Wisdom at third base in the sixth spot. Trey Mancini will be at first base, Nelson Velazquez in right field, and Miguel Amaya behind the plate as he will make his major league debut to round out the order.
