The Chicago Cubs added utility infielder
Hernan Perez to their 60-man pool on Tuesday.
Perez will now head to Wrigley Field and begin workouts with his teammates on Thursday. In 2019, the 29-year old hit .228 with 8 homers and 18 RBIs in 91 games with the Milwaukee Brewers. For his career, he has hit .252 in eight pro seasons. The Cubs now have 51 players on their 60-man pool roster that are scattered between Chicago and South Bend. Utility man Hernán Pérez has been added to the Cubs' 60-man player pool, bringing it up to 51 players. He was in camp with Cubs as a non-roster invitee during the original Spring Training.
