The St. Louis Cardinals defeated their rival Chicago Cubs 6-4 on Sunday night at Wrigley Field to split the 4-game series.
Reliever Aroldis Chapman pitched a perfect 9th inning and then Wrigley Field played the 1997 hit song "Smack my Bitch up" as he walked off the field.
The music selection was troubling with Chapman's recent suspension in October for a domestic violence incident where he choked his girlfriend and fired eight gunshots according to reports.
Chapman has a 1.80 ERA with 24 saves, 57 strikeouts, and a 0.75 WHIP. For his career, he has a 2.14 ERA with 170 saves, 603 strikeouts, and a 0.99 WHIP.
Chapman closes out the inning & at the inning break the Cubs play "Smack My Bitch Up." You gotta know better. C'mon.
