ST. LOUIS — After being a late addition to the Chicago Cubs' starting lineup on Friday, center fielder Albert Almora Jr. prevented the St. Louis Cardinals from taking an early lead. Almora crashed into the center-field wall in the process of securing an inning-ending catch.

The impressive leaping snag occurred in the bottom of the first at Busch Stadium. Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina was robbed of an extra-base hit as a result of the superb grab, with Almora catching Molina's deep drive and leaving two baserunners stranded.
