CHICAGO — Putting a bow on the Chicago Cubs' 4-1 triumph over the St. Louis Cardinals, shortstop Javier Baez broke out his "El Mago" alter-ego for a magical game-ending double play at Wrigley Field on Friday. Baez helped the Cubs turn a double play in the top of the ninth to wrap up the victory.

After closer Jeremy Jeffress walked Kolten Wong with one out, Tommy Edman hit a grounder up the middle that bounced over second base. Baez fielded the baseball and placed it onto the bag for the force out before firing it over to first baseman Anthony Rizzo to complete the flashy 6-3 double play.
