Flashbacks of El Mago.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Nelson Velazquez got a spot start in right field and had an impressive double during Thursday afternoon's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Velazquez had an El-Mago-like slide into second base as he avoided the tag and was able to keep his left hand on the bag without being called out.

Hopefully, the youngster will get some more experience and starts under his belt this season during this difficult-to-watch rebuild.
