WATCH: Nico Hoerner smacks two-run single against Guardians

Chicago Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner smacked a two-run single up the middle to give the Cubs the 2-0 lead in the third inning against the Cleveland Guardians on Friday afternoon.

He leads the Cubs with 42 RBIs on the season, batting mostly from the leadoff spot.

Entering the contest, Hoerner was batting .321 with runners on base this season.
