The Chicago Cubs will be represented by two prospects at the upcoming All-Star Futures Game, which features the best and brightest minor league talent. Set to take place at Coors Field in Denver on Sunday, July 11, the contest will feature center fielder Brennen Davis and relief pitcher Manuel Rodriguez suiting up for the National League squad.

Davis, who is the Cubs' No. 2-rated prospect, plays for the Double-A Tennessee Smokies. The 21-year-old from Chandler, Arizona, is currently batting .255 with three home runs and nine RBIs in 106 at-bats. He was drafted by the Cubs at No. 62 overall in the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft.

Rodriguez plays for the Triple-A Iowa Cubs. The 24-year-old right-hander is an international prospect from Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. He currently sports a 1-1 record with four saves and a 1.88 ERA in 14 appearances. Davis and Rodriguez were selected to play in the Futures Game, with the rosters being revealed on Wednesday.
