The Chicago Bears announced on Sunday that they have released veteran quarterback Nick Foles.

In 2021, he was the Bears' third-team quarterback behind Andy Dalton and Justin Fields. He only played in one game last season completing 24 of 35 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns in a win against Seattle.

However, the writing was on the wall this offseason as the Bears signed veteran quarterback Trevor Siemian to a two-year contract to be the backup quarterback.

Foles completed 65.1 percent of his passes for 2,102 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions in two years in Chicago.
