Roster Move: Bears sign veteran quarterback Nathan Peterman

The Chicago Bears announced on Thursday signed veteran quarterback Nathan Peterman to a one-year deal.

Peterman has played in 10 career NFL games with the Bills (2017-18) and Raiders (2019-21).

In two seasons with the Bears, the 28-year-old passed for 548 yards with 3 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, and a passer rating of 34.0.

He was selected in the fifth round, 171st overall by the Bills in the 2017 draft out of Pittsburgh.

Peterman will join the Bears quarterback room with Justin Fields and Trevor Siemian.
