Warren Sapp says Bears are trading Justin Fields

This is wild talk by a former NFL great.

Hall-of-Famer Warren Sapp was on a podcast recently and put the rumor mill on hyperdrive saying that the Bears are trading their franchise quarterback Justin Fields.

"What I'm hearing out of Chicago is they're fixing to package him up, trade him for some other pieces, and then go with the Bryce (Young) kid from Alabama," Sapp said.

"There's smoke everywhere talking about them trading Justin Fields and going after Bryce."

I would have to believe that this is nonsense from Sapp as the Bears are really excited about the future with Fields as he showed some elite skill this past season. And secondly, when did Warren Sapp become an NFL insider?

In 2022, Fields threw for 2,242 yards with 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions for a QBR of 54.0 and added an impressive 1,143 rushing yards and 8 scores on the ground.
