Javy Baez named NL Player of the Week

Javier Baez is living his best life.

Baez just introduced his new baby boy on social media last week and now was named National League Player of the Week on Monday.

For the week, he batted .483 with 8 extra-base hits, 10 runs, and 11 RBI. Baez is batting .285 with 16 homers and 59 RBI this season.

In the latest All-Star voting, Baez is now listed in third place at second base.

His teammate Jon Lester was also named National League pitcher of the month.
