LOOK: Cubs fan wears fake, misspelled Craig Kimbrel jersey at game

by - Senior Writer -

CHICAGO — Showing up at Wrigley Field on Thursday afternoon, a Chicago Cubs fan wearing his brand-new Craig Kimbrel jersey was probably feeling pretty proud of himself, knowing that he had gotten a sweet deal on the current must-have Cubs jersey and would be sporting it for all to see in Kimbrel's first game on the Cubs' roster. Unfortunately for the hard-luck fan, the reason that the price was so right on his Kimbrel jersey was because it was a ripoff.

Donning a jersey with "KRIMBEL" spelled out on the back, the blissful idiot seemed completely unaware that the Cubs' prized closer's surname was misspelled on his bootleg jersey. Kimbrel was called up from Triple-A ahead of Thursday's contest between the Cubs and the Atlanta Braves, meaning that the superstar reliever could potentially make his Cubs debut on the day. If Kimbrel were to take the mound, hopefully, his last name would be spelled correctly on his jersey.
