CHICAGO — The start of Sunday's contest between the Chicago Cubs and the San Diego Padres at Wrigley Field has been delayed due to weather. With showers moving through the Chicago area, the game, which was scheduled to begin at 1:20 p.m. local time, was placed in a weather delay not long before the opening pitch was scheduled to be thrown. The delay is expected to be fairly brief, as the storm should blow by rather quickly, and the game is slated to begin at 1:50 p.m. local time.
