Weather update for Cubs-Pirates game |
Thursday night's game between the Cubs and Pirates is in a rain delay after seven innings because of rain and lightning in the area.
The Cubs video board had the following statement to fans: "Due to inclement weather in the area, for your safety, please clear the seating bowl and follow the direction of wrigley field associates." If the game can not continue tonight because of the weather, Cubs will officially win the game because of their 2-0 lead. No word yet if the game will be restarted. We will update you when we get the word.
