Cubs outfielder Chris Coghlan hit a two-run single into right field to tie the game up at 2-2 against the Cardinals on Thursday night.

Coghlan tried to call time out but did a quick swing after the umpire did not give him the timeout.

It was quick awareness by Coghlan to put the bat on the ball and was rewarded with the clutch hit.
