Tony Crumpton Tony Crumpton  ·  Senior Editor ·

The Chicago Cubs owners have applied for a liquor license on Thursday that would allow alcohol concessions at the outdoor plaza at Wrigley Field.

The drinking would be allowed 11 pm from Sunday to Thursday and until Midnight on Friday and Saturday.

The application was completed by Levy Restaurants which handles Cubs concessions.

A decision could be made by the Chicago Liquor Control Commission around 45 to 90 days.
