Cubs giving away free tickets to fans throughout Chicago

In Chicago, the Cubs are generously giving away complimentary tickets across the city this Thursday.

From 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., Cubs fans are encouraged to keep an eye on the club's social media handles for updates.

The Cubs will be revealing the spots marked by a prominent "C" logo where tickets will be distributed. A total of 2,024 tickets will be gifted, celebrating the upcoming season.

The giveaway kicks off in front of the Tribune Tower.

The Cubs and the White Sox will kick off their Cactus League Opening on Friday.
