The Chicago Cubs (60-54) will take on the Arizona Diamondbacks on 7:10 PM CDT on Saturday night televised on WGN-TV and MLB Network.
Lefty veteran pitcher Jon Lester will start for the defending World Champions opposed by lefty Patrick Corbin. In 2017, Lester has an 8-6 record with 3.97 ERA with 146 strikeouts. In five starts since the All-Star break, he has been impressive with a 3.03 ERA. Willson Contreras will be out of the lineup for four to six weeks dealing with his hamstring injury.
