The Chicago Cubs won 3-1 against the Miami Marlins on Monday night at Wrigley Field and now have moved into first place in the National League Central division with an overall record of 29-27.

The Cubs are fractionally ahead of the Brewers with a .518 winning percentage to their .517 winning percentage as they have won four straight games after dropping six straight games on a recent West Coast road trip.

Interestingly, the Cubs are 18-11 at home and a dismal 11-16 away from Wrigley Field. On Tuesday night, the Cubs will go for five straight wins as they will face the Miami Marlins at 7:05 PM CDT.
