The Chicago Cubs won another thriller with hobbled Javy Baez hitting a single for the game-winner against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday night.

Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant said that 'El Mago' just keeps coming up with magical plays when the teams needs it the most.

"I don't even know what's going on with him," Bryant said. "I don't know what's going on with him half the time anyway. 'Oh, Javy is pinch hitting? I was like 'Don't swing at the first pitch.' 'He's like 'I'm so good. I'm going to get this hit and we're going to go home.'"

Baez will continue to get treatment for his heel contusion and is currently day-to-day.

For the season, he is batting .323 with 11 homers and 32 RBI.
