Cubs News: Vegas odds on 2019 World Series champs |
The 2018 MLB season is officially over as the Boston Red Sox won the World Series title with a convincing series win against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The offseason is now upon us and Bovada has already released their Vegas odds on the World Series winners for next season. The Red Sox are currently first (13/2) followed by the Astros (7/1), Dodgers (8/1), Yankees (8/1), and Cubs (10/1). What do you guys think about the Cubs being fifth-highest odds? I personally think it's about right because they have the talent but just need to put it together if they want to get to the Red Sox and Astros' level next season. Interestingly among the favorites listed, the National League Central has three teams included with the Cubs, Brewers (14/1), and Cardinals (18/1). It looks to be another fun ride in the division in 2019.
