Cubs pre-game title ceremony delayed

The Chicago Cubs were planning on raising their Championship banner on Opening Night after waiting 108 years to do it as champions at Wrigley Field.

However, the fans and the players will have to wait just a little longer as we are in middle of a rain delay. The rain delay has currently lasted 64 minutes and counting. Fans have been scurrying down to the corridors as the 2016 NLCS Game 6 between the Cubs and the Dodgers is on the video board.

7:45 CT Update: RF scoreboard reads 'THERE IS LIGHTNING IN THE AREA. PLEASE SEEK SHELTER.'

7:52 CT Update: The tarp is coming off by the ground crews.
