Cubs ranked #1 in latest Power Rankings

Yahoo Sports released its latest MLB Power Rankings on Thursday and the Chicago Cubs are on top at the #1 spot with a 31-14 record and currently sitting in first-place in the NL Central with an impressive five game lead over Pittsburgh.

"Probably should have seen the 20th century coming, drafted smarter in the aughts." Yahoo Sports said.

The top 10 teams in ESPN's MLB rankings were the Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox, San Francisco Giants, Washington Nationals, Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles, New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians.

The Chicago Cubs start a three-game home series (5/27-5/29) vs. the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday at 1:20 CT.
