Kris Bryant would love another trip to the Midsummer Classic.
"This one would matter to me just because it shows perseverance on my part coming back from injury last year," Bryant said. "Just questions regarding my play in general and showing I can get through what I had to deal with last year and come out on top." Bryant would appreciate the honor if he got the nod this season. "Any All-Star game is definitely a cool honor, but this one would mean just a little bit more to me." As of Monday afternoon, Bryant was second on the voting ballot among National League third basemen. For the season, Bryant is batting .274 with 15 homers and 38 RBIs. It matters.
