A fan fell onto the warning track from the right field bleachers at Wrigley Field around 7:14 p.m. CT on Thursday night.

The injured patron was laid out on the warning track and the medical staff carted the man away to receive medical attention.

"Prior to tonight’s game, a fan was injured after attempting to jump onto the field from the Wrigley Field bleachers. The fan was taken by paramedics to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center," a Cubs spokesperson said in a statement via NBC Chicago.

"We are unable to provide further comment on his condition at this time. We will remain in contact with the fan’s family to stay updated on his progress."
