Dodgers announce NLCS rotation vs. Cubs

by - Senior Editor -

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Friday night their starting pitching rotation for the upcoming NLCS series against the Chicago Cubs.

The Dodgers will start with lefty Clayton Kershaw in the opening game, lefty Rich Hill in game two, righty Yu Darvish in game three, and finally lefty Alex Wood in game four.

"We want to win just as much as they do," manager David Roberts said on Friday. "We're ready."

Cubs manager Joe Maddon said that the team is still undecided on their game one starter but it will go to veteran John Lackey or Jose Quintana.

Quintana only had 12 pitches in his relief appearance on Thursday night against the Washington Nationals and it was on his normal bullpen session today anyways if they decide to go on the lefty.
