CHICAGO — Adbert Alzolay is in his first full season as a Chicago Cubs starting pitcher, yet he already has a pregame tradition that has assuredly helped him win over a multitude of fans. Prior to each of his starts, Alzolay finds a kid in the stands and gifts the youngster with his pregame warmup baseball.

Alzolay started against the Philadelphia Phillies at Wrigley Field on Thursday, and a video was posted on Twitter of Alzolay giving his warmup ball to a little boy in the stands. The nice gesture made for a heartwarming moment that the kid and his family are guaranteed to treasure for years to come.
