The Chicago Cubs got blasted 17-4 by the Milwaukee Brewers in front of the Wrigley faithful on Thursday evening.
One of the only highlights of the game for the Nothsiders was when the Cubs offense came alive in the seventh inning with back-to-back homers from Frank Schwindel and then Patrick Wisdom. It was the third homer of the season for Schwindel and 18th for Wisdom. Despite the two homers, the Cubs were outscored by 28 runs in the sweep by the Brewers.
