CHICAGO — During the contest at Wrigley Field between the Chicago Cubs and the San Diego Padres on Saturday, temperatures remained in the mid-90s throughout. Chi-Town is currently dealing with an uncharacteristically scorching heat wave that has made for a couple of sweaty afternoons at the ballpark these past few days.

Therefore, when a breeze rolled through the stadium late in Saturday's contest, the Bleacher Bums loudly expressed their pleasure. Essentially applauding Mother Nature, a bevy of Cubs fans in attendance gave the wind a standing ovation as it temporarily spared them from the sweltering heat.
