CHICAGO — Tying the score at 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ slugged his fourth home run of the season in the opener of Monday's doubleheader at Wrigley Field. Happ took St. Louis Cardinals hurler Kwang-Hyun Kim deep for a leadoff blast in the bottom of the fourth.

The 373-foot solo bomb to left came on an 88-mph four-seamer. Kim departed the game soon afterward. Happ has hit the ball well as of late. His dinger on Monday left the bat at an exit velocity 91 mph and a launch angle of 31 degrees.
