WATCH: Kris Bryant swats 419-foot bomb in opening inning |
PITTSBURGH — Chicago Cubs third baseman
Kris Bryant wasted no time in giving his squad the lead over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday. Driving a fastball thrown by starter Tyler Anderson out to center field in the top of the first, Bryant put the Cubs up 1-0.
The 419-foot jack marked the second home run of the season for Bryant, who previously went yard against the Buccos in the Cubs' second game of the season. The solo jack left the bat at 108.4 mph and 22 degrees, flying out on PNC Park in a hurry. KB tees off in Pittsburgh! #KBoom#CubTogether pic.twitter.com/0Tc09Jeqpk #Cubs 1 @ #Pirates 0 [T1-1o]:
