CINCINNATI — Laying out in shallow left-center for an inning-ending catch, Chicago Cubs left fielder
Kyle Schwarber made an amazing play on Tuesday. Schwarber is a native of the Cincinnati area, and he showed out at Great American Ball park.
Schwarber dove and robbed Cincinnati Reds center fielder Shogo Akiyama of a hit for the third out of the bottom of the third. Hilariously, Schwarber tipped his cap to the invisible fans in the empty ballpark while jogging to the dugout. Nice diving grab by Kyle Schwarber in left to rob Akiyama of a hit and end the 3rd inning. Hard to make these catches as a DH. pic.twitter.com/FUH23IFRAi
