SAN DIEGO — Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber put his club up 4-2 over the San Diego Padres in the top of the fifth on Monday. By swatting a 371-foot solo bomb out to left field at Petco Park, Scwharber collected his 35th dinger of the season.

Schwarber got underneath a changeup thrown by Padres starter Cal Quantrill and sent it into the bleachers for an opposite-field tater. Leaving the bat at 101 miles per hour, the solo shot sported a launch angle of 28 degrees.
