Cubs outfielder Rafael Ortega saw the first pitch of Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates and smacked it into the right-field seats to put the Northsiders up 1-0.

It was his 11th homer of the season and it traveled an estimated 388 feet with an exit velocity of 106.9 MPH.

The homer was his second career lead-off homer.
