CHICAGO — Giving the Chicago Cubs their first lead of the game in the regular season finale with the St. Louis Cardinals, first baseman Anthony Rizzo smacked an RBI double in the gap between right and center field in the bottom of the third to drive home Javier Baez.

The go-ahead two-bagger provided Rizzo with his 100th RBI of the year, and it could prove to be his most important RBI, as the Cubs are dueling with the Milwaukee Brewers for first place in the National League Central.

Jumping for joy and pumping the Wrigley Field crowd up, Rizzo screamed like a banshee while standing at second base after putting the Cubs up 3-2. The critical hit was part of a four-run inning for the Cubs, in which they scored all four runs with two outs.
