Former Cubs catcher David Ross is retired from his baseball playing days but not with basketball apparently.

Ross was in his hometown of Tallahassee, Florida to take part in a basketball game with the Harlem Globetrotters on Wednesday night at the Tucker Civic Center.

"Thanks @globies for a fun night with family and friends," Ross tweeted. "You guys made us feel very special."

In the following clip, Ross missed a jumper badly and then misfires on an open layup. Good job Ross for picking the right sport in baseball.

"Rough start for @grandparossy_3 but he finishes with 2 points in the first half!," FSU's Tucker Center tweeted.
