On this edition of the Cubs Corner, presented by Coach’s Bar and Grill, Anthony welcomed former Chicago Cubs Public Address announcer Andrew Belleson to the show to talk about his tenure at Wrigley and what is next.

As always, this episode is brought to you by Coach’s Bar and Grill, located at 6169 North Northwest Highway on the Northwest Side of Chicago — open for service despite the pandemic.

Belleson spent the past ten seasons as the voice of Wrigley Field as the PA announcer.

During the conversation, Belleson described some of his favorite moments being the day-to-day voice of Wrigley Field as well as some of his favorite names and voices to say.

Aside from sharing highlights, Belleson also explained what it meant to be a part of the Cubs’ long, storied broadcasting history — as well as how that motivated him to pursue his play-by-play dreams.

Belleson shared some of his side gigs as a play-by-play announcer this summer, as well as how much he’ll miss calling Wrigley Field his office.

The pair also tackled some questions about the current Cubs team — that and more on the latest edition of the Cubs Corner.

As always, this episode, past and future episodes are available on Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, and the CubsHQ website.
