ESPN has released its latest MLB Power Rankings on Monday morning and the Cubs are still on top at the #1 spot with an impressive 43-18 record and currently sitting in first-place in the NL Central with a nine-game lead over St.Louis.

"With their win Sunday, the Cubs are now 25 games over . 500," ESPN said. "To put that in perspective, if they played one game over .500 for the rest of the season (51-50), they'd finish with 94 wins. Big series to start the week, with three games in Washington."

The top 10 teams in ESPN's MLB rankings were the Chicago Cubs, Washington Nationals, Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, San Francisco Giants, Baltimore Orioles, New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals, Seattle Mariners and Cleveland Indians.

National League Central was represented with three teams in the top 12 with Chicago, St.Louis and the Pirates at #12.

The Chicago Cubs start a three-game road series (6/13-6/15) vs. the Washington Nationals (#2 overall) on Monday at 6:08 p.m. CT.
