Cubs lineup vs. Mariners, Bote in cleanup spot |
The Chicago Cubs (8-6) will battle the Seattle Mariners (7-4) on Friday at 7:40 p.m. CT at Peoria Stadium in Peoria, Arizona.
The game can be streamed live on the radio on MLB.com and televised on MLB.TV, Seattle RSNW, and MLB Network. One interesting note for today's game is that future Hall-of-Famer Ichiro Suzuki will start and play right field for the Mariners. The Cubs decided that they liked what they have seen out of Yu Darvish and he will throw a sim game in Mesa instead of facing off against the Mariners in Peoria. During the simulated game, he pitched four innings giving up only one hit, one walk, and struck out three batters.
