by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Cubs (3-7) will face the Pittsburgh Pirates (5-4) on Wednesday night at 7:05 p.m. CDT at Wrigley Field. Rain could be a factor tonight but it should be out of the area by game time.

How to watch: The game will be televised on MLB.TV and WGN-TV.

Feel free to visit CubsHQ.com during the game as we will have a live game thread covering the ballgame with one of our writers. If you haven't joined our 100% free site, register here. It takes only 30 seconds to get a full membership.

Lineup Observations: Daniel Descalso gets the start at second base and leads off tonight. This is the second time this season that he has been in the top spot.

Most of the rest of the lineup is similar to last game's 10-0 win.

The Cubs have reportedly called up lefty reliever Tim Collins so the team will have a nine-man bullpen for tonight's game.

Cubs lineup vs. Pirates:

Daniel Descalso 2B

Kris Bryant 3B

Anthony Rizzo 1B

Javier Baez SS

Kyle Schwarber LF

Willson Contreras C

Pitching Matchup: Yu Darvish (0-1, 8.10 ERA) will be on the mound for the Cubs against righty Jordan Lyles (0-0, 0.00 ERA). Darvish has 11 walks in only 6.2 innings this season.

Darvish has never pitched in weather this cold (around 41 degrees) tonight in his career. He has four games at under 50 degrees and is 0-3 with a 5.06 ERA.
