Cubs lineup vs. Rangers, Bote returns

The Chicago Cubs are 3-2 in Cactus League action and will play against the Texas Rangers at 2:05 p.m. CT Wednesday afternoon at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona.

Good news for the Cubs as David Bote will return to the lineup after being hit in the head three days ago on a pitch by veteran Madison Bumgarner.

Available Cubs position players available off the bench include Marzilli, Machin, Adduci, Borenstein, Higgins, Balaguert, Burks, Giambrone, and Court.

Cole Hamels will face his former team this afternoon as he will be on the mound for the Cubs against righty Edinson Volquez.

Other Cubs pitchers scheduled include Mills, Barnette, Maples, Mekkes, and De La Cruz.
