Cubs Opening Day 2021 ticket prices rising on secondary market

The Cubs are allowing up to 20% capacity (roughly 8,300 fans) for games at Wrigley Field to start the 2021 season.

Currently, with that limited attendance, the average price for Opening Day against the Pirates is $318 per ticket, with a get-in price of $156, according to our good friends at TicketIQ.

The get-in price is more than 56% higher than Opening Day in 2019 when the get-in price was $100, and 96% higher than 2018 when the get-in was $80. For 2021, ticket prices go as high as $1,000.

If you were thinking about going to Opening Day with the White Sox, the average price against the Angels is $315 per ticket, with a get-in price of $102.
