The Chicago Cubs have signed former Reds minor leaguer Narciso Crooks to a minor league deal on Thursday.

"First and foremost I want to give my thanks to the Cincinnati Reds for giving me a chance to fulfill my dreams," Crooks posted on Instagram." Throughout the last 8 years I met a lot of amazing people who contributed to me becoming the person I am today. With that being said I’m excited to start the next chapter with the Chicago Cubs. I’m thrilled to join the family and the tradition! Let’s go Cubs."

Crooks will give the Cubs so more corner outfield depth for their big league club as they will stash him at Triple-A Iowa.

He was drafted by the Reds back in 2013.
