Love is in the air in the Windy City.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ announced his engagement on Monday to his girlfriend Julie Mazur.

His teammate Justin Steele followed up that engagement with his own proposal announcement to his girlfriend Libby 24 hours later.

"They say nothing lasts forever," Steele posted on Instagram. "But they haven't seen us together. Forever and Always. This life and the next. I'll always find you."

"I’ve dreamt of this day for as long as I can remember," his new fiancee Libby posted on social media. "Justin Steele you were worth the wait. You are my soulmate, my best friend, my voice of reason. You show me patience, true love and kindness. I cannot wait to spend forever making memories with you. Anyone that knows Justin, knows that his smile lights up a room. I am so lucky that I get to look at that smile every day for the rest of my life."

Congratulation to the young couple from everyone at CubsHQ.com.
