The Chicago Cubs have had a rash of injuries of late.

The roster continued to be depleted as Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant left Tuesday's game against the Indians with being 'under the weather.'

After the game, Cubs manager David Ross told the media that he had some breathing issues with a sinus issue.

Fast forward to Wednesday and Bryant is not in the lineup for today's game against the Indians. David Bote will start at third base in his absence.

Ross said that Bryant was still "super under the weather" and was sleepless last night. Despite feeling bad, Bryant wanted to be in the lineup today, but the second-year manager thought better of it.

He went on to say that the earliest that Bryant will play in a game will be Friday in Detroit because of the off-day tomorrow.
