Cubs News: Nico Hoerner scratched from lineup with injury |

The Chicago Cubs announced during pregame on Tuesday that shortstop Nico Hoerner has been scratched from tonight's lineup with left hamstring tightness.
No word yet on the severity of the injury. Miles Mastrobuoni will replace Hoerner at shortstop and bat eighth. Patrick Wisdom will now leadoff in Nico's spot in the lineup. Hoerner is batting .269 for the season with two homers and 12 RBIs with an OPS of .752. Craig Counsell said Nico Hoerner tweaked his hamstring in batting practice. He wanted to warm up for the game and see how he felt. Cubs decided not to risk it. Will re-evaluate tomorrow.
