Chicago Cubs third baseman Patrick Wisdom was named one of four finalists for the National League 2021 Silver Slugger Award for third basemen.

The winners are decided by votes from the manager and three coaches of each MLB team. Votes are based on a combination of statistical production and the managers' and coaches' general impressions of a player's overall offensive value, according to MLB.com.

Wisdom hit .231 with 28 homers, 61 RBIs, and .823 OPS in 106 games during his rookie season. Not a bad season for a 29-year-old rookie that didn't make his season debut with the Cubs until late May.

The other finalists for the award were Austin Riley, Nolan Arenado, and Manny Machado.

The winner will be announced on MLB Network at 6 p.m. ET on November 11.
