Two Cubs employees test positive for Coronavirus

by - Senior Editor -

It was likely that someone that works with the Chicago Cubs would eventually come down with COVID-19.

The team confirmed Sunday that two Cubs seasonal game-day employees that attended the team's March 8 training session have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Team spokesman Julian Green said the following about the news.

“There’s nothing definitive to suggest training may have contributed,” he said.

The Chicago Sun-Times first reported the positive test results by the employees.

CubsHQ would like to wish the best for the two individuals that tested positive and all others in Chicago and everywhere else during this pandemic.
