CHICAGO — Showing that he still has some gas left in the tank, veteran Chicago Cubs second baseman Ben Zobrist pulled off a superb web gem on Saturday. The 38-year-old rolled to his right to field a chopper and then fired a great throw to first base for the out.

Ending the top of the second with the stellar jump throw, Zobrist robbed the Cardinals' Harrison Bader of a hit by gloving the ball hit up the middle and throwing across his body for the third out of the half-inning. While jogging back to the home dugout at Wrigley Field, Zobrist wore a big smile on his face.
